I just wanted to make a simple list of techniques I would like to use in my project. As follows:

  • Photography
  • Stencils created in Illustrator
  • Silkscreen
  • Photos printed on different surfaces, such as fabric
  • Acrylic paint on canvas
  • Lino cuts/relief printing
  • Digital/video animation

jotting down ideas of what to do:

  • Go for a trip to find industrial areas to photograph
  • Go to the V&A. Maybe use old pictures and transform them into stencil art
  • Mix of photograph, drawing and flat colours
  • Mix photograph and flat colours
  • Take photographs through glass
  • Ghost images and industrial background
  • A repetition of details
  • Layered images (maybe obvious by placing shadows), water colour effect
  • Mechanical textures on natural objects
  • Use medium format cameras for long exposure photography
  • Introduce a little movement on photographs + learn After Effects
